We started renovations immediately. The ruffles on the windows had to go along with the lovely pink carpet.
The plan was to get the bedroom fixed up as quickly as possible so we could move everything in there while we worked on the rest of the place. As usual with renovations though, everything takes a long time.
We discovered moldy sub-flooring under the carpet our first night there. Not a pleasant surprise.
Aaron set to work bleaching it which worked wonders. It looked 98% better the next day. Big encouragement!
The floor still had to come out though because it has a big slope, so Aaron is going to level it out by putting some new sub-floor down.
Tomorrow we have to empty our storage unit...ahhh! We are going to be doing a lot of shuffling!
