About Me

I can't get enough of it!- "It" being anything creative- art, interior design, photography, journalism, poetry, colors, projects, ideas....I love it all! So, for those of you that feel the same way, I thought I would share some of the things I come across and things I am working on so we can all be inspired together.



For anyone that doesn't know me yet, I will try to summarize myself a bit. (shouldn't be so hard considering all the personality tests I take ;)

If I had to choose a main thing, I would say art in the form of painting, and interior design.



Art

I am still carving out my place in this world, but I am fast discovering my love of mixed media. Since I began painting a few years ago I have been incorporating extras into my pieces such as paper towel, magazines clips & photos. More recently though I have started getting at what I have envisioned all along- wood, metal, string, wax. You name it. My most recent hobby is walking along the highway or through parking lots finding treasures. I have a nice little collection starting that I like to call "potential."

Interior Design 

I particularly love rustic paired with modern. A modern loft with cement floors and metal railings paired with a big chunky dining table built out of a barn sends my pulse racing. As does an old warehouse built from eroding brick outfitted with a sleek tufted back sectional. To die for! The common theme between my art and interiors is my love for reclaimed pieces whether it be a coffee table or a wall hanging brought together in a delightfully new and fresh way.



The common thread in my life (and my hubby's too) is our eye for potential. It has gotten us in trouble before, and definitely in over our heads, but we are gluttons for punishment. We keep finding more. Under Condo Revamp you will find one of our most recent projects.
